About Village of Wisdom

Village of Wisdom is a non-profit organization based in Durham, North Carolina. We support family organizing and advocacy, and support entities working to eliminate racial injustice in schools. To this end, we develop tools and resources that help parents, teachers, and students create ideal learning environments for Black and Brown learners.

 

Our employees value diversity and personal growth. We’re obsessed with elevating the Black community and protecting Black Genius. We are doers, thinkers, and builders. We work in a fast-paced environment, but we are working hard at building more "spaciousness" into our plans so that our work reflects the depth of the dreams of our people.
